As the year comes to a close at Bellefield, we are feeling extremely grateful. This year, we’ve had the opportunity to continue to grow and develop iTimeKeep, work with the most talented team and best customers. We are also thankful to have experienced opportunities to grow and develop as individuals and as a company as a whole.
One particular experience that stands out for us was the participation in the EY Strategic Growth Forum, the country’s most prestigious gathering of high-growth, market-leading companies. At the Strategic Growth Forum (#SGF), we had the unique experience to interact with other entrepreneurs from all over the country discussing our biggest challenges and what keeps us going when times get tough - and it is not the money! It is the desire to make a change and improve the lives of others for the better - that is what keeps successful entrepreneurs plugging along.
Perhaps the most amazing part of that was the opportunity to listen to incredible speakers such as Simon Sinek, Jeff Weiner of LinkedIn, Steve Case of AOL, Jack Nicklaus, Joe Montana, and Barbara Corcoran, among other very inspiring figures. I found myself reflecting on what they all have in common. It occurred to me that they believe in building a culture of success, setting ambitious goals and possessing unprecedented levels of resilience.
Of course, the next question is “how can we instill these qualities as part of the culture at Bellefield?” That’s why we embarked on codifying our Culture at Bellfield.
#1: Customer Service
The Bellefield Culture is all about serving our customers and continuing to add value. Without our customers, there is no reason to exist!
At Bellefield, we’re all about excellence. Everything we do is aimed at achieving excellence. Driving excellence for our customers, practicing excellence in our day-to-day interactions and even bringing excellence to our personal lives and families - not perfection, but doing our best to be our best.
#3: Pushing Back
Another important part of our culture is pushing back and not settling for the status quo. We encourage everyone on the team to speak up when things do not seem right, or when they think they have a better plan or idea.
Finally, at Bellefield, we place an importance on respect: treating every single one of our co-workers, partners, prospects and customers with the utmost respect and consideration.
With that said, we want to make sure that everything we do is driven by our values and culture. By codifying our culture, we hope to continue to deliver value to the industry that we serve and make a difference in other people’s lives.
